Dr Clare Cromwell graduated UCD in 2003 with an honors MB BCh BAO
Following graduation and intern year in the Mater Hospital Dublin, Clare worked in Brisbane Australia where she gained experience in A&E and ICU and rural medicine. Clare returned in 2005 and completed her GP training scheme in the North East working in Cavan and Drogheda. In 2010 she moved to Cork and worked as a GP in Ballincollig and moved to Boston for 4 years in the interim.
Her Post grad qualifications include Diploma in child health, Diploma from the royal college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry, Diploma in Therapeutics, certificate in family planning, module in cardiovascular medicine from UCC 2018.
Special interest in women’s health and antenatal care, fertility and paediatrics.
Clare is registered smear taker and competent in implanon and coil insertion.
Outside of work Clare enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and her 3 girls. She enjoys jogging and Pilates.
