Description

Counselling is for anyone who wants professional and objective support in a time of personal stress or crisis. Stress or crisis can occur at times of change and can lead to us feeling unhappy or even stuck in our circumstances.

Counselling is also valuable as an aid to personal growth and can help with developing skills in assertiveness and self- confidence, which in turn can assist in increasing your sense of well- being.

Counselling in Elmwood is provided in a safe, caring and confidential environment by Dr. Mary Boylan (Psychologist). Mary Boylan is a Chartered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland.

Mary has been practicing in the following settings over the past 20 years on a full time, part time or consultancy basis: university, school, health, community, corporate and the disability sectors. Mary’s primary areas of interest and expertise are mental health (anxiety and depression) and wellbeing, positive psychology, stress management and suicide prevention, intervention and post-vention.

All sessions are by appointment only made directly with Mary Boylan. The cost per session is €90 and each session is an hour long. All information is strictly confidential.
